Mooch
What Mooch keeps
On your phone
Your saves, scores, quick reviews, questionnaire answers and photos are kept in this browser, so Mooch works without an account.
In your account (if you sign in)
Your email address, username, saves, scores, quick reviews and questionnaire answers, so they follow you to any phone. Only you can see your own. Other people only ever see totals (like “12 people said Cosy”), never who said what. Photos are only shared if you choose Friends or Everyone.
Your location
Used on your phone to show where you are and walking times. It isn't stored. When you ask for directions, your position (rounded to about 10 metres) and the venue's are sent to OpenStreetMap's walking-route service to work out the route.
Visit counts
Mooch counts page visits with Vercel Web Analytics to see which parts get used. It uses no cookies and nothing that identifies you.
Removing your things
Clear any review, score or save on its venue page, and redo your questionnaire answers from the Profile tab. A button to delete your whole account is coming soon.
